Forrester’s Recent White Paper Reveals TIBCO and Oracle as Leaders in Comprehensive Integration Solutions.
Forrester’s in-depth study looks at three key factors in determining CIS market supremacy.
London — January 24, 2011 — Integrella, a leading UK business integration consultancy, recently noted that Forrester’s White Paper on Comprehensive Integration Solutions (CIS) for this year found many of the same companies at the top of the market, according to a wide range of determining factors used in their analysis. Over the past four years, TIBCO Software, Oracle, IBM and Software AG, have topped Forrester’s leaders quadrant. This group of four business integration solution giants has sustained its superiority as far back as 2005 (Forrester did not issue a white paper on comprehensive integration solutions in 2009).
Forrester’s analysis of the CIS market is far from being anecdotal: they employed a 137-point criterion for determining where the leading CIS companies stand in the current marketplace. The 137 factors are grouped according to three main categories, which include “current offering,” “strategy,” and “market presence,” all of which encompass the past, present, and future of where these CIS leaders have been and are headed towards in the years to come.
Of these three categories, however, a company’s “current offering” was the most critical of Forrester’s analysis, containing 110 of the 137 points considered in the weighting.
